About

Broughgammon is an award-winning, forward thinking family farm, artistan butchery, shop and cafe near Ballycastle, Antrim. Focusing on regenerative farming practices they specialise in cabrito (kid goat meat), freerange rose veal, seasonal wild game and homegrown veg.

Broughgammon Farm is open to the public every Friday-Sunday from 11:00 - 16:00. The farm shop and cafe is also open during this time and we have a delicious menu available as well as Bailies coffee, tea and homemade cakes using foraged ingredients.

The farm shop also stocks our ethical meat, abernathy butter, raw milk, corndale salami, ferments, corleggy cheese, young buck cheese, homegrown veg and lots more!

The farm is open to wander around during this time, there’s donkeys to see, goats, cows as well as our no-dig gardens and new projects. A seasonal nature hunt handout is available in the farm shop, just ask!

Farm to Fork Tours: Guided tours that include samples of our award winning produce and our Northern Irish producers cookbook are available starting at £50 (for up to 5 people).

Farm Classes: We run an array of artisan classes at the farm including cheesemaking, butchery, natural living, foraging and many more. Check out our website for details.

At Broughgammon Farm we aim to farm regneratively, and in doing so are developing an increasingly permacultural smallholding rearing surplus kid-goat and free range rose veal bull calves (by-products from the dairy industry). In season we also specialise in wild game, another often over-looked and sustainable food source, as well as growing our own vegetables for our farm shop.
