About

Bramble Green – Sustainable Irish Knitwear is a family run knitwear business  based near the famous Dark Hedges in County Antrim, along Ireland's scenic Causeway Coast.

VIsit our beautiful Studio close to the Dark Hedges site in Armoy, County Antrim.  Nestled in the countryside at the homestead of the McCooke family, Bramble Green, founded in 2016, is run by Claire (mother of 3 young children), the owner. Claire sources wool which is used in our handmade pieces from Donegal Yarns – one of the oldest woollen mills in Ireland.

Claire designs many of the pieces in the shop and these are completely unique to Bramble Green. Working closely with individual crafters and artisans Claire has created an eclectic range of handmade knits, as well as a lovingly curated range of; Aran sweaters for adults & children, Donegal Tweed scarves and hats, Scottish fair-isle, Irish socks and blankets. We also stock the iconic McWilliams’ sailing bags which are made in County Cork.

Located close to the famous Causeway Coast, and only 5 minutes drive from the popular ‘Game of Thrones’ Dark Hedges attraction. Visitors are welcome from 10:00 - 17:00 Monday to Saturday during Spring/Summer.  Appointments before or after these times and on Sundays can also be made by contacting Claire via email or telephone.  We open every Saturday throughout Autumn/Winter and open for bookings during the week too.

We try to be very flexible to suit your itinerary whilst you are sightseeing, and later in the evening appointments are bookable if more suitable.

To visit outside of normal opening hours at the Studio just call or email Claire. (Any day of the week.) Call +44 7709 109871 or email claire@bramblegreen.com . We are very flexible to suit your visit to Ireland.
