SPECIAL CONSENSUS 50th ANNIVERSARY TOUR
Friday 24 January | 8.00pm (Doors 7.30pm)
Tickets: £18 full, £16 concession

2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of The Special Consensus Bluegrass Band under the leadership of founding member Greg Cahill.

The Chicago-based quartet performs traditional Bluegrass standards, songs from other genres with Bluegrass arrangements and original material by the band members.

Of their 21 recordings, the last 7 were released on the Nashville based Compass Records. They have received 2 Grammy nominations and numeerous IBMA awards. In 2024 they received the IBMA for Best Music Video for 'Alberta Bound', taken from their latest album 'The Blue North', a celebration of Canadian music.
