Searching for a thoughtful gift for someone? Support local businesses, artists and crafters when you purchase a souvenir from our Visitor Information Centres across the Causeway Coast and Glens. Not only will you have the satisfaction of supporting our local community, but we guarantee that whatever you choose to purchase it will put a smile on your loved ones’ faces, no matter what the occasion is (you might even come away with a little something for yourself!)
Here’s just some of what you can find in stock but feel free to drop by our Visitor Information Centres in the borough to browse for yourself, whether you’re living locally or passing by on a short break:
Local produce
Here in the Causeway Coast and Glens, we’re home to many wonderful food collectives and artisan food producers – all of which work hard from their shops, factories and homes to create tasty goods made with love. Shop everything from hampers, oils and preserves, to chocolate bars, snacks, sauces, and even coffee – you’re guaranteed to find a gift for even the pickiest of eaters in our Visitor Information Centres. Not only that, but you can stock up your cupboards with a few things for yourself (go on, you deserve it!)
Art & Photography
Maybe you know someone that’s redecorated their home recently, or perhaps you’d like to send someone living abroad a scenic reminder of the place they call home. Our Visitor Information Centres are stocked with photography prints and posters of local beauty spots and attractions, taken or created by talented photographers and artists. You can also find smaller gifts like coasters, pens and keyrings which make perfect little tokens of appreciation for special people in your life. If you’re travelling through the area on a short break be sure to pick up a magnet for your fridge back at home. Afterall, without a magnet how will people know you spent time on Northern Ireland’s beautiful Causeway Coastal Route?
Fashion and Jewellery
For those that love their style, look no further. A beautiful range of locally made knitwear, scarves, wraps and more will keep friends and family cosy over winter months, and their timeless and classic designs ensure they’ll use them for years to come (bonus points for sustainability!). You can also find stunning pieces of jewellery including rings, glass design necklaces, bracelets, and earrings – the perfect compliment to any outfit.
Beauty and scents
Everyone loves to look and feel their best, and for people that love to pamper we have a selection of natural skincare products including moisturisers, oils, soaps and flavoured lip balms, all of which are Northern Ireland made. For home interiors that already look good, make them smell good too! We stock a selection of candles and diffusers, with scents that feature undertones of sea salt, peat, and even whiskey - the perfect sensory reminder of your time spent here!
Ceramics, crafts & ornaments
You can never have too many mugs! For coffee and tea lovers, pick up a cup that they’ll love sipping their morning brew from. Know someone who’s moved into a new home lately? We have plenty of decorative ceramics that make a tasteful addition to any interior, from sculptures to decorative bowls and pots. Find something unique like a metal sculpture or a quaint little wooden craft. When you shop local, you’re not only finding special gifts that can’t be bought anywhere else, you’re also supporting a local artist, maker or producer.
Causeway Coast & Glens Gift Card
If they’re tricky to buy for there’s always the option of a gift card. Not only can you purchase the Causeway Coast and Glens gift card from our centres, you can also spend it with us too – as well as in plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants across the borough!
We hope you're feeling inspired, and we can't wait to welcome you to our Visitor Information Centres where our advisors will be happy to help you find the perfect gift for someone.
