About

The Salthouse Hotel offers a number of self-catering, eco-friendly lodges located within the grounds of the hotel; a short walk from the main entrance and hotel facilities.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the County Antrim countryside with breath-taking views out over the Atlantic Ocean, Rathlin Island and beyond, The Salthouse eco-lodges offer the perfect tranquil experience ideal for couples, families or larger groups.

Set amongst woodland trees at the foot of Knocklayde Forest, each eco-lodge is "off-grid" drawing renewable energy from our own local wind and solar supply. Keeping in line with our actions to minimise any impact on our environment and offering sustainable luxury.

The Lodges features

Our eco-lodges are fully self-catering and include everything you could need for a relaxing visit sleeping up to 6 guests; the perfect way to Discover your Coastal Calm with loved ones.

Each interior presents a luxury finish, with picture windows and a double height open plan living area, perfect for capturing the picturesque views. Guests can enjoy the living area with home comforts to include comfy sofas, internet enabled Sky TV (but we promise the view is better than anything on the box), with integrated Netflix and Youtube access. WIFI fibre optic broadband is available throughout the lodges.

Each eco-lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen area with integrated microwave, electric oven and cooker, dishwasher and combi washer/dryer. Upstairs houses a spacious master suite and luxury shower-room, with mezzanine window; another perfect opportunity to gaze out at the view! Downstairs two double or twin bedrooms, with a family bathroom.

The Salthouse Spa facilities are available to those staying at the eco-lodges. T&Cs apply.

The eco-lodges are the perfect way to leave it all behind, take time out and enter your very own home away from home.
