When and where is the event?
The Rathlin Sound Festival takes place on Rathlin Island and Ballycastle between Friday 24th May and Sunday 2nd June, with most activities taking place in and around the Seafront at both locations.
Where can I park in Ballycastle?
Parking will be available in town car parks including the Harbour Carpark, Quay Road Playing Fields, Marina Carpark, Sheskburn Recreation Centre and Ann Street. A big demand for parking is expected, so perhaps consider using the bus. Timetables available on www.translink.co.uk.
Where can I find the full programme?
Programme of the week’s activities will be available soon. For updates during the event, please refer to the official social media platforms as a lot of our programming is weather dependent and can change on the day @RathlinSoundFestival
What disabled facilities are there?
Disabled parking is available in various car parks. Accessoloo is on site at Ballycastle Seafront. There is also quiet time for children with additional needs in Ballycastle on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th May 11am – 12 noon.
Is this a free event?
There is no admission for this event and most of the activities are free. Any activities which incur charges will be specified on the programme.

How do I book travel to Rathlin?
The Rathlin Island Ferry is bookable online at www.rathlin-ferry.com. Please ensure to book well in advance as the ferry does fill up fast, especially during the weekend of the festival.
