About

Did you know bees are so important to the health of our planet, that they have their own special day to celebrate each year? Join the team at The Giant's Causeway to get the buzz on how to care for them at Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site!

There will be a range of activities running all day -

BEE Constructive! - From 10:00am - 11:00am

Make your own bee nesting box to help solitary bees thrive in your garden! Bee box making will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so please arrive promptly to register for this activity.

BEE Creative! - From 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Make your own bee decoration for your home!

BEE Educated! - Throughout the day

Bee-themed shows will be playing on the cinema screen, and the Giant's Causeway's very own resident Beekeeper, Dr Cliff Henry, will also be making a special appearance!

All events will be taking place within the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre.

Oh, and don't forget to visit the retail area to browse the latest range of bee-spoke bee products!

National Trust Members and Local Pass Holders gain free access. Online booking is strongly recommended via the official website. This is a free event; normal admission charges apply.
