About

Having recently released his book 'An Eye Witness to War and Peace' , Eamonn Mallie will take you on an extraordinary journey through his life as a journalist in Northern Ireland. From the frontlines of the Troubles to the corridors of power, Eamonn's fearless reporting and unrelenting pursuit of the truth have made him a legendary figure in Irish journalism. In his talk he will share reflections on his ground breaking interviews with John Hume, Gerry Adams, Margaret Thatcher, Ian Paisely, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and a host of other influential figures involved in the Peace Process.

This event is part of Cushendun's Culture Month at the Old Church Centre, a diverse programme of music, arts literature and debate throughout September.

CBPT gratefully acknowledge support for Culture Month from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and the Good Relations Council.
