About

Zara McLaughlin is an accomplished potter based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. Her practice centres on the potters wheel, which she uses to make bespoke functional wares for the home. Zara hosts creative ceramic workshops from her Coleraine based studio and across Northern Ireland.

Two of the experiences you can book at Zara's studio include a Pottery Wheel Throwing Class and a Pottery Painting Morning. Throughout each experience, you'll have Zara's expert guidance in the comfort of her purpose-built workshop, and you'll get to take your final product home with you (or receive it via post if it requires firing and glazing)

"Have a Go" Pottery Wheel Throwing Class

This experience is designed for beginners (Ages 12 and up) to try out the potters wheel and learn how to make a mug, jug and a little bowl. All pieces made at the studio are glazed and shipped back to you in the post two weeks after your class.

"Pottery Painting Morning"

Suitable for all ages, you'll choose one piece of ceramic on arrival to decorate as you wish. New pieces are added to the collection every month so each new visitor will have a fresh selection of mugs, jugs, bowls, plates and more of all different shapes and sizes to choose from.

All pieces painted at the studio will be shipped back to you two weeks after your class. Tea and Coffee served throughout.
