About
The Boathouse Gallery is a fascinating spot to visit at Innisfree Farm, a mere stone's throw from the world-famous Giant's Causeway. The gallery is so named because it is home to one of the most famous traditional racing Drontheim fishing boats of the region, 'The Arrow', which hangs in the ceiling of the old cow byre.
The gallery is also home to six creative makers, Eleanor-Jane McCartney, a glass artist who runs regular glass workshops; ceramicist Malcolm Murchison; silversmith Emer Dixon, photographer Conor Edgell; Jim Allen who works in mixed media, and textile artist Louisa Kelly.
Visitors can meet the artists and see them at work and discover the unique background stories associated with their art which you can own.
The group has created a piece of public art at the Giant's Causeway comprising of stunning massive pieces of driftwood, which contain glass, copper and ceramic discs and serve as a poignant way of acknowledging the impact of the COVID pandemic.
