About

Experience the tranquil River Bann from the comfort of White River Charter's vintage vessel and discover the fascinating origin story of human settlement in Ireland.

During this land and water-based journey, you'll hear stories about the River Bann and Mountsandel across diverse timelines. This 3 hour experience includes a personal meet and greet with the experienced crew, a two hour seated boat journey on a classic vessel and a shore stop at Mountsandel, as well as complimentary tea/coffee and homemade refreshments onboard.

Comfy cushions and fluffy blankets will keep you comfortable and warm during your trip. The boat deck is covered with a bespoke canopy with optional drop-down sides to provide shelter and comfort should the weather be chilly. Light weight, easy to use hand-held binoculars are provided for use and field guides and identification charts of river wildlife will also be available.
