About

Welcome to Freedive NI, Northern Ireland’s first and only Freediving and adventure SUP and snorkel Centre based in Portrush.

We offer Freediving Courses, Guided Discovery Tours and Freedive Safaris, Cave Snorkeling Trips, and Coastal SUP adventure tours. Discover the magical underwater world of the Causeway Coast with professional instructors and dive guides. Dive through canyons, snorkel into cathedral-like caves, paddle along majestic sea cliffs or join our breathing and freediving courses and learn to unlock your truly amazing breath-hold potential to find your inner calm. Find out how it feels to become weightless below the waves where you can fly like a bird.

Wild Coastal Swim at the Whiterocks

Experience awe-inspiring natural beauty with a Wild Coastal Swim in the Atlantic.

Hidden away from the trodden tourist path lie the wonders of the Causeway Coast…impressive cliffs, clear water, reefs and caves. Discover the biodiversity close-up, from wildlife (seals and fish) to birds (gannets, oyster catchers, razorbills), seaweed and geology.

Fully accredited water experts ensure your maximum safety and enjoyment.

Minimum group size is two and minimum age is 12 (children younger than 12 if at least one supervising adult joins the session).

This tour is suitable for complete beginners who are confident in the water. Land access might involve a little scramble over rocks along a stunning cliff path.

This tour is dependent on the right weather conditions, please get in touch with us before booking.

Please note that depending on sea and wind conditions a location will be chosen for the tour that offers the best protection from the elements
