About

Frankie Creith is an art school graduate of Ulster University Belfast who is best known for her mixed-media textile work which incorporates fibres, papers, paint, inks, wax, resin, and all manner of media through collage, fusing, layering, and embellishment using both free machine and hand stitch.

Her work has been published, televised and exhibited internationally and is held in private and public collections worldwide, including the permanent Textile Collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

She has worked as an 'Artist in Residence' for the Education Boards and Arts Council of Northern Ireland for more than 20 years, and her work is showcased at her Gallery on Portrush Main Street.

"My current works are inspired by local land and seascapes rich in colour and texture, with emphasis on creating a sense of place," Frankie says.

"I love to share and encourage others in the development of their creativity, teaching and facilitating a range of workshops, where small group numbers are key toward a relaxed learning and fun experience."
