Following a relaxed introduction, you’ll take your seat for supper as traditional Irish music plays. The menu focuses on locally-sourced produce and includes such favourites as Irish stew and shepherd’s pie. You’ll want to sample the colcannon too. Another local speciality, it's made with mashed potatoes and kale. Supper is served with wheaten or Guinness bread, followed by cups of tea and delicious shortbread biscuits! A hearty meal which sets you up for the evening ahead.
Now it’s time for the festivities to begin. There’ll be skilled musicians providing live music and expert Irish dancers who will perform a mixture of jigs, reels and other dances. Expect ‘a bit of craic’ and great entertainment for all the family to enjoy. Plus there's opportunities to join in, should the mood take you. Perhaps you’d like to try your hand – or feet – at ‘The Waves of Tory’? Or maybe a quick jig like the ones you’ve just seen?
