About

Cozy at the Causeway was originally a one-storey cottage built at the beginning of the 20th century. Over time residents have added to the building, until we have the house you see today.

Just a short four-minute drive from the village of Bushmills, you’ll find our cottage behind a set of gates and down a driveway on the quiet Cozies Road.

The front garden is the home to lots of local wildlife. The birds and butterflies especially love the place, with robins, blackbirds, wrens, coal tits and thrushes all nesting in the local trees and hedgerows. It's a very relaxing environment if you like to start your day with yoga (we provide two mats in the porch).

From the back garden patio you can also watch the buzzards soar overhead and if you’re lucky spot one of the local hares that like to grab a bite among the long grass.

Our enclosed garden makes Cozy at the Causeway ideal for families and dog lovers alike. We provide a travel cot, baby bath and highchair for the little ones. Plus, there's a dog bed, bowls and treats should you want to bring your canine companions as well.

Cycling is a great way to get around the Causeway Coast. If you want to bring bikes, let us know and we'll make space in one of our sheds for them.

Cozy at the Causeway is an old house, with an old hot water system. We will try to make sure you have all the hot water you need, but larger groups may find that they'll need to let the water heat up again if they are taking more than two showers at a time.

Our closest neighbours are the cows that sometimes frequent the fields that border our property.
