About

The Anchorage self catering town houses are located in Portballintrae, a quiet fishing village. The houses are a short distance (30 metres) from Portballintrae Harbour and the sheltered sandy beach, offering safe bathing and shallow rock pools. Recently built (2009), these town houses are well appointed and set back from the main road offering partial views of the North Atlantic. They are a short costal walk away from the Giant's Causeway, and one mile from the Bushmills Distillery.

These houses provide an ideal base to explore the attractions of the North Coast including; Ballintoy, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, Dunluce Castle and Ballycastle, to list a few. For the golfers there are many links courses within the surrounding area, including Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Ballycastle, Bushfoot and Castlerock. All these courses are open to non-members. For the surfing enthusiasts, Portballintrae hosts one of Northern Ireland's best surfing beaches, Runkerry strand, located yards from your door.
Each house comprises of an open plan kitchen/dining/living area, with French doors opening onto a south facing courtyard with barbecue and patio furniture. The houses are gas central heated, with a fully fitted kitchen; including dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. There is a toilet on the ground floor level, with a bathroom on both the first and second floors. The first floor double bedroom is en-suite with a south facing balcony. In total there are four rooms; one double, two twins and one single, comfortably sleeping seven. Each house has private off street parking. Pets are permitted, and the houses are strictly non smoking.
