About

The property is located in a quiet residential area, five minutes walk from Portstewart Town Centre. The house itself has three tastefully decorated bedrooms; two double rooms, one of which is ensuite, and a twin room. The entire house has been refitted within the last 18 months and has all the home from home facilities you would expect to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and there is a large screen television and DVD player to keep you entertained. Internet access is available. The kitchen has all mod cons, including a dishwasher, allowing you to fully relax during your stay! Laundry facilities are also available. There is a front garden and a rear paved patio area with outdoor furniture - an ideal barbecue spot. Heating, electricity, towels and linen are all included in the price.

There is a wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants located nearby (5 minutes walk) in the town. There are boutique clothing and hardware stores, newsagents and booksellers. Portstewart Strand is a mere ten minutes walk along the stunning coastal path. This National Trust beach has been awarded a blue flag and offers gorgeous views towards the town. The town hosts the annual Red Sails Festival in July, offering a wide range of family friendly entertainment such as local and internationally renowned bands and musicians, dancing troupes, artists, competitions and stunning firework displays. The Red Arrows make regular appearances at this event.

The summer months also see the area take part in the the annual North West 200, Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event. The motorcycle racing circuit runs between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine, so you wont have to travel too far with all the action taking place on the door step!
Other attractions nearby include The Giants Causeway, a unique Unesco World Heritage area. The 40,000 interlocking basalt columns steeped in mythology are Northern Ireland's premier tourist attraction. Nearby, other attractions such as Dunluce Castle, Whiterocks Beach, Carrickarede rope bridge, Bushmills distillery and Mussenden Temple impress visitors to the North Coast. Coleraine, just a 10 minute drive away, offers more retail therapy. This holiday let is also an ideal base from which to explore the historic city of Derry/Londonderry, the second largest city in Northern Ireland and the 2013 UK City of Culture.
