About

This comfortable family house has been recently renovated to a high standard. With a new kitchen and open plan eating area you have masses of room. With under floor heating throughout the extensive kitchen/dining area, and the drying room, there is plenty of space to dry clothes - always needed after long walks on the beach. With one large family sitting room with a log burner and a further smaller sitting room with an open fire for those who want to escape, there is plenty of space for all. So much for the ground floor. Up the stairs to a bathroom and then a separate shower room both with loos, up a further small flight you find a double bunk room and a large double room. Up to another landing and then you have a large family bathroom with all the kit and two twin rooms and a double. The smaller of the twin rooms really suits children, but no footboards so even the tallest can sleep in them. In all we very comfortably sleep six adults and six children.

There is a large child-safe (if there is such a thing) garden to the rear of the house.

5 minutes walk to the beach, Rathlin Island ferry and town centre. Children’s play park across the road with extensive playing fields. And finally there is a bus stop opposite the house.

It is a glorious getaway for us, with so much to do on the North Coast: sun sea and sand - what more can you ask for.
