About

Connect to the natural, historic and mythological wonders of the Giant's Causeway like never before on one of the new 'Giant Experience Tours' at Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site.

These new, specialist guided tours will allow visitors to join a small group for a guided walk and talk, focusing on a specialist subject area such as geology, oceanography, flora and fauna and conservation.

This bespoke range of tours, delivered by a team of experienced storytellers, allows visitors to get a deeper understanding of a key element of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether your interest is history, marine wildlife or geology, visitors can join a tour that connects them to this special place in a new and engaging way.

Each tour explores a different area of the site, from the clifftop path to the rockpools that sit alongside the Grand Causeway, and visitors will be taken on a fascinating journey as the guides bring to life the unique heritage of this iconic place.

Delivered by Storyteller, Kathryn, Secrets of Sea and Shore delves into the exceptional diversity of marine wildlife and habitats on the coasts of Northern Ireland.

On Saturday 16 November at 11:00am, join Kathryn to hear more about phenomena such as tides, currents, plankton blooms and discover some of the creatures you can expect to find living in our coastal waters and shores.

The tour will last for a duration of 1 hour. Meet your guide, Kathryn at the Meeting Point within the Visitor Centre.

Spaces on this event are limited, therefore pre-booking is essential via the official website. Please see full breakdown of prices on the official website.
