Getting Around

The scenery of the Causeway Coast & Glens is surely amongst the most beautiful in the world. There are a host of ways to see it. Whether you want to do the work yourself on foot or bicycle, see the land from sea or let someone else do the driving, we have a wide range of options for you. Once you’re here, travelling around the Causeway Coast & Glens area and throughout Northern Ireland is very easy. If travelling by ferry you can bring your own car or hire a car from the port of entry when you arrive. Roads are good and relatively quiet and the country is compact so it's easy and quick to get around and there are some great cycling options too with routes to suit all abilities.

Translink is the main provider of public transport in Northern Ireland and local and special bus services offer a range of good value everyday deals. Taxis are an economical option for short journeys within towns and villages for example. There are taxi ranks in most towns, but telephoning a local firm is often more convenient. Minimum fare is around £2.50 and all trips are metered.

Below is a list of companies who can facilitate any way you wish to see the area.
